there is known compatibility issue with WP 2.3.1, I think that blacklisted regexps does not applies. I will fix it asap. (08.11.2007)

Current version: 0.6 beta

Features:
- white list for countries
- black list for words

Black list will be applied only if user is not found in white list hosts.

Installation:
1. Rename .php.txt to .php
2. upload php file to your /wp-content/plugins directory
3. Click on “Activate plugin”
4. Click Metakis configuration
5. Click Create IP Database (if fails, enter another temp dir with write access or temporary create dir with chmod 777)
6. Select whitelist countries
7. Enter blacklist words

- Fixed bug with changing temp dir.

- Replaced @fopen with is_writable
- Added check before download
- upload_tmp_dir is set as default temp dir
- allowed /tmp/ syntax and /tmp syntax for temp dir

- eregi {1,50} 50 is too short, 150 is better.
- $dzaspam_options = get_option(‘dzaspam_options’); // missing after line 151
- EU” is added to database instead of EU
(10x AquilaX).
- load data infile removed, seems very unlikely mysql to be with read access to filesystem.

(int) start_ip and (int) end_ip caused total malfunction of downloading ip database… you should upgrade and Update IP database ;/ Half of world IP’s are not in your current DB. Sorry for that.

Known bugs
- Word black list seems useless, because of bundled in WordPress.
- upload_tmp_dir seems not a good decision, default upload dir of WordPress seems better :-)
- There is no “Update completed” message after “Update IP database”

To do
- Alternative IP Database – seems better.
- Country flags for comment users
- Uninstall

Works fine for me with akismet anti-spam turned off.

Changed method of entering blacklisted words from input to textarea.
Minor bugfix

Caution – “girls” might not be a good choice for blacklisted word. I am sorry, but adding of the words is still word-by-word ;/

    Does anyone know the name of the wordpress plugin that creates a list of your posts in a category instead of just displaying them one after the other? I want it so that when someone clicks on a category they just get a list of posts from that category.

    I'm sure Ive seen one…and sifting through the WP site is a nightmare

    Seems unnecessery. I think that is possible to be done with CSS only. I hope that you will find the solution soon.

    FREE – свободен за употреба, промяна, редистрибуция и т.н.

    използваемата част на този плъгин е регионализацията. Монтиран е на около 10-12 блога, филтрира спама от близкия изток. Не бих го препоръчал на никой, който няма по-сериозни технически умения, главно защото на ниво конфигурация ако няма writable temp dir вътре в плъгина трябва да се укаже къде да пише – бъг който така и не отстраних поради липсата на интерес на потребители.

    Значи може сам да си изготвяш спам листа, така ли? А въпроса ми е, ако дадения човек го спомена в блог коментара, как се третира поста? Той пак няма да е онлайн, но ме интересува за статуса му.

    П.П: може да сложиш и едни:

    и още много, в последно време и читави пазарни продукти се предлагат чрез спам. ;)

    Антиспам плъгинът ми не е в състояние да предпазва блог в момента. Единствените блогове, на които работи, са такива, които аз поддържам.
